Do you Over Think Everything?

My Dear Friends,

I’m so, so sorry; but I have not been so well again these last few days as I experienced a couple more allergic reactions. However this time we had no idea as to why or what caused them! The good news is I’m feeling ok again now, and,  I’m trying to get my mojo back, and get off my backside and write again 🙂

Overthinking…..I guess most of us are guilty of this from time to time and many of us are guilty of doing it all the time!..So that got me to even more thinking…. “Is overthinking a problem”?….Doesn’t it protect us from harm?……In my experience, all overthinking does for us is cause us more grief and suffering!

I know I have done my fair share of overthinking, especially in these past few weeks since my anaphylactic shock and death experience….and certainly each time I have had another allergic reaction since then; my mind goes into turmoil, thinking, wondering, overthinking…’Will I go into anaphylactic shock again, will my heart stop again, will I die again?’……’What’s causing all these allergic reactions, is it safe for me to go outside my home, will I eat something or drink something that will bring me another allergic reaction’!…and on, and on the vicious cycle goes, robbing me of my life, striking me down once again with more worry!

So what can we do to stop this or at least calm this overthinking down? Well, I meditate A LOT 🙂

I find meditation helps me calm my mind, it take me to places I can rest my mind, my body, and my soul, places that take me away from my daily life, from my work, from the worries of my illness, my allergies and my suffering, places that I have learned to love and to respect, they are mine, truly mine and I am safe there.

So, if you suffer from illness, anxiety, depression or loneliness, please try meditation, it may take you a few times to get the swing of things, but trust me, the wait is certainly worth it and the benefits far outweigh the pain of learning 🙂

If you have any questions on meditation, or just need a little support on how to start, please let me know and I’m happy to help 🙂

Pains in the Head, Heart and Body + A Shift In Consciousness!

Published 30/11/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

CSSs7aBWEAAhOlS.jpg

My Dear Friends,

Wow, what a weekend!

As you know I have been dealing with the emotions and changes to my life since my sudden death and out of body experience last week and also to the coming back to the life through the wonderful care and efforts of the paramedics in the ambulance.

These past few days have been challenging, enlightening, emotional, worrying and wonderful all at the same time. I certainly have a fresh and new outlook on life, and my days are more open to ‘what ever will be will be’ attitude and I certainly look at life through a fresh set of eyes, my mind and body has been dealing with emotions maybe from this lifetime and also possibly from previous lifetimes as I continue to integrate all that happened last week. One minute I’m fine, sitting with a smile on my face as I look at the sun, the trees or whatever I’m looking at but a second later I’m in floods of tears!….Tears of sadness and tears of happiness, I know I should not look back because I cannot change the past, what happened; happened and I also cannot change the future, so whatever will be, will be!..But, you know how our ego minds work, playing tricks on us, making us look back and re-live the pain and suffering or making us fear the future, the fear that it may happen again!…Well, yeah, I am doing both from time to time. I meditate a lot, I connect with my heart, with my soul and with my divine self. I know ‘all is well’, there are no demons waiting to pounce on me in the dark of night, and,..actually, I am at peace with myself. But, after all I am living this life in this human form so I must honour that too and try to control that playful and mischievous Ego Mind and get back on track with my life here on Earth and back on track with my spiritual journey.

I did two ‘Ascended Master Channelling Sessions’ for two people in Australia today, I realised that these were the first channelling sessions since my death experience last week, and I noticed that my consciousness has shifted, my channel connected much quicker than before and the flow of energy and messages flowed so much quicker too, also I noticed much more feeling, especially in my crown chakra and heart chakra as the energy flowed and the light filled my channel with grace and ease.

So, am I the same person as I was one week ago…physically ‘yes’, mentally…hum, ‘not sure’, energetically, ‘no way’ 🙂 Life goes on and I’m continuing to learn, to evolve and to take these life experiences and use them to do good. 🙂

Blessings to you all Dear Friends

Love and Light, My Personal Gift To All Of Humanity

My Dear Friends,

Who am I, and what do I have to give to humanity?

Well, I am human, at least my physical form says I am…But that’s a deeper story and one I won’t go into now 🙂

I am 1 person living on Planet Earth, I am one of 7.5 Billion souls on this planet today, I live in a city of 25 Million souls, each with their own thoughts, personality, set of behaviours, religious and political belief systems, cultural style & belief, race, gender, sexual preference, education level etc…So, what is it I have to offer Humanity?

Well, I can offer Humanity my love, my compassion, my voice and my light…All these things I can give…Freely!..I have no agenda, no reason other than to help spread the word of love through my own light and my own personal voice..

I want to share my love with all who are willing to listen and to receive, there is no agenda or recompense required, I just want to speak out and to give you my love 🙂

Our world is filled with beautiful souls, many of which stand on the rooftops and shout out for all to hear, there are also many who want to stand on the rooftops and shout out; but they are fearful of being shot down in flames, held back with a fear of retaliation against what they are saying or trying to share with our world, with humanity! Many of these gentle souls are hounded by trolls on the internet, receiving bad comments, taunted into cyber arguments; all because of their openness and passion fondness to share their love with humanity!…

My Dear Freinds, we are living in a world where nothing is perfect and there is no ‘cookie cutter’ template or fix for humanity, we are all one, we are all from the same one source, we are one in humanity we are ‘ IN THIS TOGETHER!’..Life, living life and loving life is subject to personal choice and how we choose to live our life is personal to each and every one of us…

I am only 1, but I promise you, I will ‘ALWAYS’ do my best for humanity, for our environment and for our planet, because I only have this life (well maybe not only this life, but again that’s a different story and subject to personal belief again 🙂 ).

So, here I am on Friday 20th November 2015 saying to you…

I give you my Love and My Light, Please share with others as I am sure there are many souls out there that would love to receive the love and light from you too 🙂

Which world do you want your children to grow up in?

My Dear Friends,

Utopia?…I Think not!

Is my question ridiculous?…I Hope not!

Is the picture on the right too far fetched and impossible for us to achieve?…No! I firmly believe that it is possible for us to achieve, and for some of our readers, I am sure they actually live a life that is somewhat similar to that picture!…..But, unfortunately, this is not the case for the majority living in our world today!

Is the picture on the left a joke?…Or, is it a reality of many places in our world today?……Can we make the change from living on the left side of this picture; to actually living on the right side of this picture?….Yes!…Hell Yes!

As you know, I am a peace loving kind guy, I do my best each day to share positivity, love, peace and respect to all people of our world, I hold out my hands in support of just cause, I share my love in the hope that one day I can really help make a difference to one person’s life, and they in turn help someone else…And on and on it goes…

This is my dream, a dream in which we can wake up and realise the realities of life, the realities of what is really going on in our world, not just what we see with our own eyes, what is going on in front of our faces, in our own neighbourhood.. but what is going on all around the world…Because, my dear friends, life is not so wonderful and so rosy for many millions of our fellow humans all around the world!

War, Rape, Persecution, Famine, Displacement, Genocide, Greed, Slavery, Human Trafficking, Racism, Hate, Religious Bigotry, Terrorism etc continues to go on right in front of our very nose each and every day…!

I want to end this short post on a positive note….Do I see changes happening?

YES, I DO 🙂

My Dear Friends, WE…CAN..MAKE A DIFFERENCE, ONE PERSON AT A TIME 🙂 FOR EACH PERSON WE HELP AWAKEN, THAT PERSON WILL THEN HELP ANOTHER PERSON WAKE UP, AND SLOWLY, SLOWLY, WE WILL CHANGE OUR WORLD 🙂

Thank you for listening, thank you for caring 🙂

Where Is My Life Taking Me?

My Dear Friends,

Here I go again…thinking…and raising myself another challenging question…….

Where is my life taking me?

I sit, I ponder, I think and I meditate……..

………

…….

Just when we think our life is settled, some curve ball comes our way!…..Our life is turned upside downI Change my friends is inevitable , our lives are constantly in flow, this way, that way, ever changing and we ourselves never stay still, especially our minds, worrying about this, worrying about that, planning this, arranging that, floating off after the next thought process that comes into our minds and as were following that though another thought pops up and we follow that too, and on and on it goes, our busy minds controlling our lives….But, do we have to be slaves to our mind, can we draw the line in the sand and say to our mind ‘No More’, I don’t want to follow you anymore, I want freedom of mind, I want peace in my life?

Well, we could all pack up our things now and go off and become Buddhist Monks or Nuns, we could go off to the mountains of India, Thailand or Tibet, we could seek out a Guru to follow, we could give up all our worldly possessions and meditate for years on end…. But!…, will that satisfy our mind and bring us a more peaceful and contented life?…For some, yes,… It is a noble path to follow and certainly one I greatly respect and often wish for myself…But, I also live in the realities of life and I honour who I am, where I am and what is important for me. I, like most of you have family, friends, colleagues, work, commitments etc, I, like many others also dream of that better life, a more fulfilling spiritual life in which I can help those less fortunate than I.

So, where is my life taking me?….

Well, It’s taking me where I need to be each day, and I need to come to terms with that very fact, I am where I am because how and what I think, I’m here right now writing this post because this is where I need to be and this is what I should be doing right now…Fact!

I work with people Spiritually and through Psychology each and everyday, I and those who know me know what sort of man I am, I give my all, I give my love, I give my compassion out to humanity everyday and I’m certainly grateful for all the love I have in my life, for all the abundance in my life, for all the support I have in my life and I always give thanks for all that I am in each and every moment, so…..

My life is what I make of it, it will flow in the direction I take it,….

I choose to live a life of Love, Compassion and Support for the betterment of humanity, mother earth and our environment 🙂

The Divine is present in Everyone

My Dear Friends,

Whilst meditating this morning and as I travelled freely into the depths of my very being, connected with my heart, my authentic self and my soul, I was for a while in paradise, there was no stress, no challenges, no confrontations, no need to have high expectations for myself, just pure unadulterated time for me, me and myself, me, myself and my Divine Spirit.

This got me to thinking, after the meditation had finished I should add 🙂 Thinking as to how often we all connect to our authentic self? and how much of your life are you living as your authentic self?…I should i guess take one second to explain what i mean by authentic self…Well, most of us lead and live our lives through our Ego mind, our Ego mind is the chatter we hear, it guides our lives most all the time telling us what to do and what not to do, for some of us the Ego mind is ok and sort of in balance but for many the Ego mind is all controlling, and also along with the Ego mind are our ‘Aspects’, aspects are part of this life, our previous lives, they are connected to us by our experiences in this and past lives, they come to us through our family, our lineage and they too can be all controlling, telling us what to do and what not to do, then of course there is our old friend ‘Karma’, Karma comes about again through experiences, what we did in this life or previous lives, the reaction to something we did or maybe did not do…So our friends Ego, Aspect and Karma all take their time to control our very being, it’s the chatter when you want to go somewhere that says’Don’t go, you know it wont be good for you’, or ‘You have no chance with him or her, they are far too good for you’, ‘You will never be able to do that, you know you always fail’, etc, etc. They also control our emotions evoking bad reactions to given situations and experiences and some of the aspects can make us physically sick and stop us in our tracks, holding us back from doing things, going somewhere even something simple like going into a restaurant can cause some people grief because an old aspect held them back!

Our authentic self, our divine self will always guide us to do whatever is in our highest interest at that specific time, it won’t lead us astray and if in balance with our divine feminine and divine masculine, it will always receive whats best for us from the heart of God and make manifest this for us in our lifetime.

A  question for you..”What are you creating with your own experience, what messages from your daily life are being sent/said to your soul’?

Are they happy, joyous, or anxious, sad and depressed, unhappy, loving, wonderful etc…?

When your life story is being replayed, what does it show?

Are you living your life in happiness and joy or are you being controlled by your Ego mind, your Aspects and old Karma?

Remember, Everything going on in your life IS YOUR OWN CREATION!…. You may not always be in the most perfect relationship, job or home but how you choose to react to this life matters because this reaction is what is being transmitted to your soul….

In a recent channel session I had with Saint Germain he said, ‘It is for you to find the joy, it is your life to live and if you are living with unhappiness then come to terms with it and make a change in your life, there are many stories in life and you need to find the ‘Gift of Life’ for you and not just sit there and live in a unhappy life full of sadness and depression, it is after all your response to what is in your life so choose to be happy with what you have or make a change!

Saint Germain asks…’What are you doing with your gift of life?, are you giving it away to somebody else, are you giving away all/most of your energy to others, spending all your time working, chasing the dream but living in unhappiness? ‘How much time to you spend singing, laughing, dancing, living and enjoying all that life brings to you?…You should be dancing, co-creating, living and enjoying life 80-90% of your day!…So…

We must ask ourselves,

Are you dancing with life?

Are you living your life through your true authentic self?

If Not, then why not?

These will be aspects, old karma and your ego mind holding you back, holding you prisoner in your life! So if so, is it that you are you not seeing your true potential or even realising what gifts your life has to offer you?

The time has come for change, the stories in your head are just stories which hold you back from reaching your full potential, these stories are ‘Past, not ‘Present’, so it’s now time for change, time to let them go, time to move on and…

Live Your Life To The Full 🙂

The Heart and The Mind

My Dear Friends,

I have been away from my blog for a couple of weeks or so now, searching deep within myself, connecting with my heart, my soul and finding my Divine Self. This journey has been amazing, it has taken me to places within my very being that I have never been before, it has opened me up to emotions and to feelings that have been long repressed by my mind and my ego and it has given me the chance to make peace with and to let go of many things from my life that have been holding me back from reaching my full potential within this lifetime.

To finally making peace with; and to letting go of old belief systems from this lifetime and also connecting me to many previous lifetimes, old Karma, Aspects, contracts and agreements tied to old experiences, and promises made by me and other previous lives. Coming face to face with these has brought me much needed clarity, understanding and closure as to what has in fact been controlling my life thus far, and also the realisation of my future, my spiritual journey and where in fact that is leading me.

My meditations, ceremonies and connections with the Divine Masters has been wonderful, connecting with them each and everyday, channelling them and downloading their messages, their wisdom and their codes for my life, connecting me with places outside of this world, this reality and this dimension and taking me to places I have never dreamed of possible. But now I know different, I have experienced so much in these past few weeks, I have seen, touched and connected with the light and the awesome power from the very heart of God. I’m blessed with this ability and I now hold out my life in service to the light and to help others understand the pathway to the light and what that power will bring to Humanity.

I will share more of this journey with you during the next few months as I take further steps forward on my personal journey of discovery. I will endeavour to share my experiences, some of the codes, mantra’s and messages given to me and to help you in anyway possible so you too may be able to experience this wonderful journey into the light.

Remembering 9.11, And All Those Who Lost Their Lives For No Reason Other than Hatred.

My Dear Friends,

9.11…. 14 years ago, A day still etched in may peoples minds, the day we saw hatred go to another level, the day in which so many innocent people lost their lives for no other reason other than hatred.

9.11, let us pray collectively as human beings, as brothers and sisters of humanity, from different countries, cultures, colours and religious beliefs, let’s today come together as one and pray that their lives were not lost in vain, and pray for world peace, for the coming together in ‘Oneness’ against terrorism, against hatred, against political or religious power or control.

Lets do as the monks did in Bangkok (picture below) After the bombing in Bangkok, Buddhists are changing the energy on the bombing site through meditation and prayer, proving that love is greater than hate. meditate and pray for peace.

Observation & Judgement …..Your Mind and The Games We Have To Play

Published 13/08/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

awareness

My Dear Friends,

You have to be quicker than your own mind!

When you see yourself analysing or negatively judging what you observe in yourself, whether it is a thought, emotion, or attitude, be more clever than the one who is judging or analysing. Step back into the observer; observe the judge and don’t judge him. The judge becomes the object of your observation. Remember to make every disturbing element the object of your observation; in this way, the observer goes more deeply into observation each time, whereas if you see what comes as an obstacle to observation, it becomes one.

The more you are in the observer , the less importance the object you observe has. When you are in the state of the observer, , which is not the state of the dreamer, you observe what you decide to observe and are awake to the rest; otherwise this state of concentration leads to emptiness, but to a hollow emptiness. True emptiness is the emptiness of the observer who is detached from the mechanism and capable of taking in everything. Thoughts come and go in your emptiness, and it remains empty because nothing remains attached to it.  The observer sees everything, it remains tranquil, there are no negative emotions . Everything is handles rightly. Things pass, the observer can take them seriously or lightly, it is identified with nothing. Judgment belongs to the world of things that pass.

So keep on observing with no judgment my friends and have some fun with your mind.

I am this, I am that, Iot’s of Little , ‘I’s

11782526_10153119277148366_219541307842493193_o

My Dear Friends,

I was wondering how many times per day we say ‘I’ , I’,m not feeling well, I’m fed up, I dont’t agree, I don’t like that, I love you, I want that, I want this, I, I I…

The little ‘I’s, the personality is composed of countless fragments called little ‘I’s, all of which counted together form our image of ourselves.. These little ‘I’s, acting autonomously and often contradicting one other, take turns directing our personality – for example, the jealous ‘I’, the complaining ‘I’, the submissive ‘I’, the dominant ‘I’, etc. Without realising it, we can constantly take ourselves to be one of these little ‘I’s, which gives us the impression of being one, whereas we are in fact completely fragmented.

The Higher ‘I’, is the true nature of man, it is even further from his lower ‘I’ ( all of his little ‘I’s) than his essence. It gradually awakens in us as we develop our essence. this higher ‘I’ is composed of two higher parts of our being (the higher emotional center and the higher intellectual center ) which can only manifest when they receive nourishment of high quality, a nourishment that can only be provided by our essence. By purifying our lower ‘I’, our essence can develop and our higher emotional and intellectual centers can become active, allowing our higher ‘I’ to manifest.

Our Higher ‘I’ is at one with God, Source, your Higher Self, keep cultivating it and you will benefit from its awakening 🙂

Peace, what does it mean to you?

Published 04/08/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

My Dear Friends,

Oh my, I’ve been thinking again!…..

I don’t know what’s got a hold of me since i’ve been away, maybe it was the quietness of my retreat, the contact with nature, time on my own to reflect and be thankful for all I have in my life, who knows but it’s great to be back and thinking again 🙂

I was up early again this morning, jet lag has been far worse than normal this time and has been playing havoc with my sleep patterns 😦 Still, it does also have its blessings as being awake so early gives me time to just sit, to be at one with myself and to reflect and think. This morning’s topic was ‘Peace’ and what does that word really mean to me? It conjours up to sides for me, one is the obvious ‘world peace’ where all countries come together in harmony and bring about an end to conflicts between different cultures, religions and countries then the other is being ‘at peace’, peace within myself/yourself.

I don’t think many people actually find peace with themselves, they are always chasing around looking for something more for their lives, more money, a better job, bigger house, bigger car, a holiday, more clothes, a fancy watch, diamond ring, more education, just more and then more, also seeking happiness where ever they go, meeting new friends, going out more, socialising, building a dream, looking for love, looking for acceptance, looking for praise, looking and looking outside, a constant journey seeking out happiness and peace….but the reality is you wont find it outside, you wont find it in things, you wont find it in your travels, you wont find it in a bigger house or a new job or a new relationship…….

Happiness and peace are within…..

And once you come to terms with that then you can let go, you can free yourself of the chains that hold you back, you can become one with yourself, you can start to love yourself and find your true self, your happiness and your inner peace.

Take time out today my friends, take time to just be you, take time to sit with yourself and just be the wonderful you 🙂

Words of Inspiration, Where Do They Come From?

Published 03/08/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

11709754_1197613320264544_7606110403020720044_n

My Dear Friends,

It has been a few weeks since my fingers hit this keyboard and linked to my mind in order to bring about a post to you on endlesslightandlove.com . I’m truly sorry for this absence of leave and I hereby take up my responsibilities for this blog once again and endeavour to bring you a today.

I have been travelling for the past few weeks, keeping myself out of trouble, connecting with nature, meditating and gaining some most needed spiritual rest. The past year has been challenging but good and my life is a joy so I have everything to be grateful for.

This got me thinking……Where do my words come from?

Im not an avid reader, I do read books and articles from time to time but they are mainly to do with my work and my spiritual beliefs, I don’t really enjoy writing and if i sit down and try to think of something to write about my mind goes blank, so I guess I’m as the old saying goes; ‘Lost for words’! So where do my blog posts come from; where do my poems, my words of inspiration come from?……..

I channel, I’m part of the global ‘Open to Channel’ OTC program that is created and presented by my dearest heart teacher and mentor ‘In’ Easa Mabu Ishtar’. We are a collective of students from all around the world who have different backgrounds, cultures, languages and religious beliefs who come together for the OTC program and channel from the Ascended and Enlightened Masters, we learn to open our channel and receive, information can come to us in various forms, it can be words, knowledge, mandala’s, written or graphical text, hieroglyphics, pictures, music etc, whatever the Masters deem important for us and humanity at that given time is received through our channel. I have personally received words, mandalas, sounds in the form of music, chanting in another language unknown to me, texts in a hieroglyphic format, mantras and graphical images, also channeled are answers to questions/problems etc that may come to me at another time and the answers come to me at the right moment in order to help someone out that maybe I have not even met yet!

So back to my original question…Where do my words come from?….Maybe some of them do come from this body, this consciousness and maybe some others come to me from the Ascended Masters, from Higher beings, from the Angels, Arch Angels or even from my own Ascended family members! Often I sit and think about this, I write a post and wonder ‘where did those words come from, i often sit and re-read a post and at the end think, Did I just write that!

Who knows!…..I’m just a humble man, I’m not seeking any fame or fortune, I don’t receive any income from this blog, I don’t receive any payment for any of my posts or for my time….All I know is, I write, I post and I try to help those in need as often as I can, my door is always open and my ears are always open to listen with the intent to try to understand and I offer my support to those who reach out to me.

So, I will continue to channel, I will continue on my own spiritual journey, I will always be there for anyone who needs my help and I will always offer my hand and my love to help humanity, mother earth and our environment.

It’s great to be back and amongst those whom I love 🙂

If deluded, one will fall into a state of dilemma, which is confusion;

If deluded, one will be lured by the external realm, which is temptation;

If deluded, one will be deceived by fake presentation, which is deception;

Delusion arising, afflictions arise; with afflictions, there comes misfortune.

Loneliness

Published 26/06/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

alone

Sometimes I just sit alone and think, often thinking too much about my life, the people around me, my family, my friends, my work colleagues, spending too much time overthinking and allowing my ego mind to have it’s way with me!

Our days are filled with wasted time, hour after hour our mind ticks over, relentlessly sending us it’s opinions based upon our thoughts on the things we see, hear and fell, judging this and judging that, telling us to hate this person, stay away from that person, beware and fear this or that and holding us back from living our lives to the full.

Somedays our hearts are totally controlled by our mind, we feel lost and alone, its like something is missing from our heart, like a lost loved one, something is missing and causing us pain, we become tearful, agitated, anxious and sometimes so down that we just don’t want to get up or go out, the feeling is so strong that it controls our very being and stops us from moving forward with our lives.

Loneliness and the lack of love for ourselves feeds our ego mind, it fuels its fire and allows damaging thoughts to be generated at a rapid speed, negativity reigns supreme when the ego mind is at play, controlling our very being.

When your feeling down and lonely, its hard to pick yourself up when the ego mind is holding you down , twisting your mind with its negativity, pumping your body full of non-productive, suppressing ideas as to how you should live your life, it’s in total control…but how do we break free from the clutches of our ego mind?

Well, in my case, meditation is the key, it brings me peace and allows me to break free of the chains that my ego mind has wrapped around my soul, meditation takes me to a place of peace, to a solitude of silence where I can connect with my soul, with my Divine Self and where I can take back my life from the clutches of this egotistic mind that is at play with me.

If you suffer from any form of loneliness, unhappiness, anxiety in your life then please try meditation, seek out someone to help you, to guide you in the early stages of your practice……feel free once again and regain your happiness, then start living your life of joy 🙂

What Thoughts Do You Keep In Your Mind?

Your Mind it a powerful thing, it can control your life, your happiness and your future….

What Thoughts Do You Keep In Your Mind?

Your Mind is not a dustbin to keep anger, hatred and jealousy.

Loving and Living Your Life?, or Do You Have Unresolved Karma Tying You Down?

Karma is a Bitch!…

Not My Words but they are words used all around the world, words spoken of things that have happened in your current lifetime or in previous lifetimes that are connected to your life and which hold you back from living a life of happiness and abundance.

Karma is a frequency a vibration sent out from you through your actions, reactions, emotions or ego, these vibrations  and frequencies are mostly negative, they often come from anger, resentment, hatred, anxiety, depression, jealousy, doubt, mistrust, feelings of betrayal, lost love etc. But we may be moving on with our life never even realising that Karma is at play in our life, often doing things the same old way, acting or reacting in the same old ways, making decisions in our life based on following our old feelings and habits the way it has ‘always been’, but not ever realising that these decisions, or thoughts of doubt, feelings of sadness, jealously, not being worthy, ‘I will never have money’, ‘I will always be poor’, ‘I will never find love’, ‘Its no point me going because I will only be disappointed’, ‘ I have no talent’, ‘I am not worthy’ etc are based and controlled by Karma, and this Karma may have been put into place due to a bad experience a previous life has gone through and they at that time put out a message a Karmic message, a frequency/vibration that bounces around the universe and keeps a control of your life and the decisions and actions we take, and until you realise this Karma is in play with our life and until you get to the root of the original problem, the cause of this Karmic reaction then you will never resolve it, you will never break the chains that shackle you to this or other bad and destructive Karma’s that control your life.

I too am going through huge awakenings in my present lifetime and I am now connecting with my previous lives, connecting with unresolved Karma that was placed by my previous lives; that are still in play now and effecting my present life.

Releasing the unresolved Karma on our Earth is the most important action for the heart of humanity at this time. We are collectively being asked to resolve all of humanities miscreations through all incarnations so that the Earth may become free of this unresolved energy and ascend. In each moment of your day, you are creating and manifesting your own Karma, either in alignment with the Divine Will or solely through your personalities free will. The Karma created is either resolved Karma, energy filled with unity consciousness or it is unresolved energy filled with separation and duality.

Karma is sparked and is birthed into the Universe by you, it is not an emotion, feeling or a thought, it is a vibration of consciousness that you create from that experience, event or encounter in your life, Usually Karma is then held through your attachment to the beliefs or programs you have decided to adopt from your life’s experience. Karma is therefore the consciousness of energy that is encoded to your very DNA and perfectly aligned to the intent you held, consciously or unconsciously, at the time you manifested this energy. You must realise or remember that you are responsible for all that happens in your lifetime, you are responsible for all the energy you choose to create or filter, distort, change, transmute or transform within the energetic field you exist in in your physical body.

How you choose to manifest your will in the physical form is always accepted and honoured in the Universal Mind because it understands that like children you are learning about mastering the power you hold to co-create in the physical form.

Every manifestation you choose to create in your physical form holds an energetic force of consciousness that is encoded with your intention through your free will. These encodements are aligned with your DNA and when you send this energy out into the field around you it is first manifest in the etheric and then the physical. All manifestations of creation travel through the seven lower bodies of your being and are anchored on the Earth. Whilst you may judge these manifestations as good or bad Karma, in fact they are neither, it is simply your learning. All that you choose to manifest in the physical form through your free will is effected by the Karma-resolved or un-resolved-that you already hold within your energy body from all your incarnations. Whatever Karma you hold affects your reality in each moment of your life.

The Karma may or may not serve your highest potential, if it is resolved and balanced aligned to God then it assists you to reach your full potential, but if it is un-resolved and filled with negative intent and out of balance with God then it causes separation, sadness and non achievement of your goals and full potential.

So in short, in order to manifest abundance in your life and the achievement of your full potential then you need to find out what Karmic forces are at play with your life, what Karmic bond, contacts and agreements have been put into place by you in this lifetime and by your previous lives that are still in play now!…Delve deep into your inner self through meditations, connect with your previous selves, seek for answers that lead to to the cause that brought about the Karmic effect that is now manifested into your live and creating your reality, one you find these clues then you can seek further help and guidance from the Masters to break these old Karmic bonds , contracts and agreements thus releasing you from the chains that hold your current life back.

If you need help with understanding Karma, resolving unresolved Karma, connecting with previous lives and bringing about a change in your life please let me know, because I am here to help you and I can recommend you to other light beings and professionals that can help bring about the necessary changes you may need to make in your life.

Channeled Mandala & Mantra OTC Lesson 1(1)

My Dear friends,

As you know I have been absent from my blog for the past few weeks dealing with some family issues and I have also embarked on a wonderful year long spiritual program which is also taking up a lot of my spare time, and although time consuming its benefits to me spiritually have already been immense. I will over time give you further details of this program and also share with you some of my journey within the next 12 months 🙂

During the start of the program we were asked to connect our light channel, align and fully open our chakras and open our heart to ‘Source’ and ground this connection deeply with Mother Earth, this I did and once my heart was fully open I started to channel pure love and pure source energy from ‘Source / God’. Many wonderful things happened to me on this initial journey as I connected to Source, Ascended Masters, My Spiritual Guides, Healers and Angelic beings, whilst in meditation and during the journey with my higher self I channelled the following Mandala and Mantra which I hand drew and painted after the meditation session, I do hope you like them and also feel the positive energy and unconditional love that were shared with me from above that day 🙂

Blessings of Love and light to you all

Shenpa…Attachment and What it Means in Your Life

Published 23/04/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

BY PEMA CHÖDRÖN

Shenpa is the urge, the hook, that triggers our habitual tendency to close down. We get hooked in that moment of tightening when we reach for relief. To get unhooked we begin by recognizing that moment of unease and learn to relax in that moment.

You’re trying to make a point with a coworker or your partner. At one moment her face is open and she’s listening, and at the next, her eyes cloud over or her jaw tenses. What is it that you’re seeing?
Someone criticizes you. They criticize your work or your appearance or your child. At moments like that, what is it you feel? It has a familiar taste in your mouth, it has a familiar smell. Once you begin to notice it, you feel like this experience has been happening forever.

The Tibetan word for this is shenpa. It is usually translated “attachment,” but a more descriptive translation might be “hooked.” When shenpa hooks us, we’re likely to get stuck. We could call shenpa“that sticky feeling.” It’s an everyday experience. Even a spot on your new sweater can take you there. At the subtlest level, we feel a tightening, a tensing, a sense of closing down. Then we feel a sense of withdrawing, not wanting to be where we are. That’s the hooked quality. That tight feeling has the power to hook us into self-denigration, blame, anger, jealousy and other emotions which lead to words and actions that end up poisoning us.

Remember the fairy tale in which toads hop out of the princess’s mouth whenever she starts to say mean words? That’s how being hooked can feel. Yet we don’t stop—we can’t stop—because we’re in the habit of associating whatever we’re doing with relief from our own discomfort. This is the shenpa syndrome. The word “attachment” doesn’t quite translate what’s happening. It’s a quality of experience that’s not easy to describe but which everyone knows well. Shenpa is usually involuntary and it gets right to the root of why we suffer.

Someone looks at us in a certain way, or we hear a certain song, we smell a certain smell, we walk into a certain room and boom. The feeling has nothing to do with the present, and nevertheless, there it is. When we were practicing recognizing shenpa at Gampo Abbey, we discovered that some of us could feel it even when a particular person simply sat down next to us at the dining table.

Shenpa thrives on the underlying insecurity of living in a world that is always changing. We experience this insecurity as a background of slight unease or restlessness. We all want some kind of relief from that unease, so we turn to what we enjoy—food, alcohol, drugs, sex, work or shopping. In moderation what we enjoy might be very delightful. We can appreciate its taste and its presence in our life. But when we empower it with the idea that it will bring us comfort, that it will remove our unease, we get hooked.

So we could also call shenpa “the urge”—the urge to smoke that cigarette, to overeat, to have another drink, to indulge our addiction whatever it is. Sometimes shenpa is so strong that we’re willing to die getting this short-term symptomatic relief. The momentum behind the urge is so strong that we never pull out of the habitual pattern of turning to poison for comfort. It doesn’t necessarily have to involve a substance; it can be saying mean things, or approaching everything with a critical mind. That’s a major hook. Something triggers an old pattern we’d rather not feel, and we tighten up and hook into criticizing or complaining. It gives us a puffed-up satisfaction and a feeling of control that provides short-term relief from uneasiness.
Those of us with strong addictions know that working with habitual patterns begins with the willingness to fully acknowledge our urge, and then the willingness not to act on it. This business of not acting out is called refraining. Traditionally it’s called renunciation. What we renounce or refrain from isn’t food, sex, work or relationships per se. We renounce and refrain from the shenpa. When we talk about refraining from the shenpa, we’re not talking about trying to cast it out; we’re talking about trying to see the shenpa clearly and experiencing it. If we can see shenpa just as we’re starting to close down, when we feel the tightening, there’s the possibility of catching the urge to do the habitual thing, and not doing it.

Without meditation practice, this is almost impossible to do. Generally speaking, we don’t catch the tightening until we’ve indulged the urge to scratch our itch in some habitual way. And unless we equate refraining with loving-kindness and friendliness towards ourselves, refraining feels like putting on a straitjacket. We struggle against it. The Tibetan word for renunciation is shenlok, which means turningshenpa upside-down, shaking it up. When we feel the tightening, somehow we have to know how to open up the space without getting hooked into our habitual pattern.

In practicing with shenpa, first we try to recognize it. The best place to do this is on the meditation cushion. Sitting practice teaches us how to open and relax to whatever arises, without picking and choosing. It teaches us to experience the uneasiness and the urge fully, and to interrupt the momentum that usually follows. We do this by not following after the thoughts and learning to come back to the present moment. We learn to stay with the uneasiness, the tightening, the itch of shenpa. We train in sitting still with our desire to scratch. This is how we learn to stop the chain reaction of habitual patterns that otherwise will rule our lives. This is how we weaken the patterns that keep us hooked into discomfort that we mistake as comfort. We label the spinoff “thinking” and return to the present moment. Yet even in meditation, we experience shenpa.

Let’s say, for example, that in meditation you felt settled and open. Thoughts came and went, but they didn’t hook you. They were like clouds in the sky that dissolved when you acknowledged them. You were able to return to the moment without a sense of struggle. Afterwards, you’re hooked on that very pleasant experience: “I did it right, I got it right. That’s how it should always be, that’s the model.” Getting caught like that builds arrogance, and conversely it builds poverty, because your next session is nothing like that. In fact, your “bad” session is even worse now because you’re hooked on the “good” one. You sat there and you were discursive: you were obsessing about something at home, at work. You worried and you fretted; you got caught up in fear or anger. At the end of the session, you feel discouraged—it was “bad,” and there’s only you to blame.

Is there something inherently wrong or right with either meditation experience? Only the shenpa. Theshenpa we feel toward “good” meditation hooks us into how it’s “supposed” to be, and that sets us up forshenpa towards how it’s not “supposed” to be. Yet the meditation is just what it is. We get caught in our idea of it: that’s the shenpa. That stickiness is the root shenpa. We call it ego-clinging or self-absorption. When we’re hooked on the idea of good experience, self-absorption gets stronger; when we’re hooked on the idea of bad experience, self-absorption gets stronger. This is why we, as practitioners, are taught not to judge ourselves, not to get caught in good or bad.
What we really need to do is address things just as they are. Learning to recognize shenpa teaches us the meaning of not being attached to this world. Not being attached has nothing to do with this world. It has to do with shenpa—being hooked by what we associate with comfort. All we’re trying to do is not to feel our uneasiness. But when we do this we never get to the root of practice. The root is experiencing the itch as well as the urge to scratch, and then not acting it out.
If we’re willing to practice this way over time, prajna begins to kick in. Prajna is clear seeing. It’s our innate intelligence, our wisdom. With prajna, we begin to see the whole chain reaction clearly. As we practice, this wisdom becomes a stronger force than shenpa. That in itself has the power to stop the chain reaction.

Prajna isn’t ego-involved. It’s wisdom found in basic goodness, openness, equanimity—which cuts through self-absorption. With prajna we can see what will open up space. Habituation, which is ego-based, is just the opposite—a compulsion to fill up space in our own particular style. Some of us close space by hammering our point through; others do it by trying to smooth the waters.

We’re taught that whatever arises is fresh, the essence of realization. That’s the basic view. But how do we see whatever arises as the essence of realization when the fact of the matter is, we have work to do? The key is to look into shenpa. The work we have to do is about coming to know that we’re tensing or hooked or “all worked up.” That’s the essence of realization. The earlier we catch it, the easier shenpa is to work with, but even catching it when we’re already all worked up is good. Sometimes we have to go through the whole cycle even though we see what we’re doing. The urge is so strong, the hook so sharp, the habitual pattern so sticky, that there are times when we can’t do anything about it.

There is something we can do after the fact, however. We can go sit on the meditation cushion and re-run the story. Maybe we start with remembering the all-worked-up feeling and get in touch with that. We look clearly at the shenpa in retrospect; this is very helpful. It’s also helpful to see shenpa arising in little ways, where the hook is not so sharp.

Buddhists are talking about shenpa when they say, “Don’t get caught in the content: observe the underlying quality—the clinging, the desire, the attachment.” Sitting meditation teaches us how to see that tangent before we go off on it. It basically comes down to the instruction, “label it thinking.” To train in this on the cushion, where it’s relatively easy and pleasant to do, is how we can prepare ourselves to stay when we get all worked up.

Then we can train in seeing shenpa wherever we are. Say something to another person and maybe you’ll feel that tensing. Rather than get caught in a story line about how right you are or how wrong you are, take it as an opportunity to be present with the hooked quality. Use it as an opportunity to stay with the tightness without acting upon it. Let that training be your base.

You can also practice recognizing shenpa out in nature. Practice sitting still and catching the moment when you close down. Or practice in a crowd, watching one person at a time. When you’re silent, what hooks you is mental dialogue. You talk to yourself about badness or goodness: me-bad or they-bad, this-right or that-wrong. Just to see this is a practice. You’ll be intrigued by how you’ll involuntarily shut down and get hooked, one way or another. Just keep labeling those thoughts and come back to the immediacy of the feeling. That’s how not to follow the chain reaction.

Once we’re aware of shenpa, we begin to notice it in other people. We see them shutting down. We see that they’ve been hooked and that nothing is going to get through to them now. At that moment we have prajna. That basic intelligence comes through when we’re not caught up in escaping from our own unease. With prajna we can see what’s happening with others; we can see when they’ve been hooked. Then we can give the situation some space. One way to do that is by opening up the space on the spot, through meditation. Be quiet and place your mind on your breath. Hold your mind in place with great openness and curiosity toward the other person. Asking a question is another way of creating space around that sticky feeling. So is postponing your discussion to another time.

At the abbey, we’re very fortunate that everybody is excited about working with shenpa. So many words I’ve tried using become ammunition that people use against themselves. But we feel some kind of gladness about working with shenpa, perhaps because the word is unfamiliar. We can acknowledge what’s happening with clear seeing, without aiming it at ourselves. Since no one particularly likes to have his shenpa pointed out, people at the Abbey make deals like, “When you see me getting hooked, just pull your earlobe, and if I see you getting hooked, I’ll do the same. Or if you see it in yourself, and I’m not picking up on it, at least give some little sign that maybe this isn’t the time to continue this discussion.” This is how we help each other cultivate prajna, clear seeing.

We could think of this whole process in terms of four R’s: recognizing the shenpa, refraining from scratching, relaxing into the underlying urge to scratch and then resolving to continue to interrupt our habitual patterns like this for the rest of our lives. What do you do when you don’t do the habitual thing? You’re left with your urge. That’s how you become more in touch with the craving and the wanting to move away. You learn to relax with it. Then you resolve to keep practicing this way.

Working with shenpa softens us up. Once we see how we get hooked and how we get swept along by the momentum, there’s no way to be arrogant. The trick is to keep seeing. Don’t let the softening and humility turn into self-denigration. That’s just another hook. Because we’ve been strengthening the whole habituated situation for a long, long time, we can’t expect to undo it overnight. It’s not a one-shot deal. It takes loving-kindness to recognize; it takes practice to refrain; it takes willingness to relax; it takes determination to keep training this way. It helps to remember that we may experience two billion kinds of itches and seven quadrillion types of scratching, but there is really only one root shenpa—ego-clinging. We experience it as tightening and self-absorption. It has degrees of intensity. The branchshenpas are all our different styles of scratching that itch.

I recently saw a cartoon of three fish swimming around a hook. One fish is saying to the other, “The secret is non-attachment.” That’s a shenpa cartoon: the secret is—don’t bite that hook. If we can catch ourselves at that place where the urge to bite is strong, we can at least get a bigger perspective on what’s happening. As we practice this way, we gain confidence in our own wisdom. It begins to guide us toward the fundamental aspect of our being—spaciousness, warmth and spontaneity.

10 Science Based Reasons to Start Meditating Today

Published 02/04/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

My Dear Friends,

I came across this wonderful infographic by Emma Seppala, PhD today and I thought it was well worth a post; especially as I have been contacted by various people recently asking me what is the benefit of meditating and besides all my normal answers like, peace of mind, quality time for yourself, lower stress levels, a rise in happiness, less anxiety, better sleep, better relationships etc; I felt Emma’s graphic helps a lot when you want to understand the benefits from a science base too.

I obviously cannot stress the importance of meditation enough and I thoroughly recommend meditation for everyone and starting at any age is ok 🙂

I do hope you find this post interesting and you start your meditation practice today 🙂

Inner Peace…Achievable?

Published 20/03/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

Achieving ‘Inner Peace’…What!, with all I have going on in my life, what with work, the kids, extra hours trying to learn new things, taking the kids to gym, dance, swimming lessons, looking after the dog, cat and goldfish, ego talking constantly to me to do better, work faster, loose weight etc…Chance would be a fine thing!……Does this or some of it resonate with you?

Well, if it does; then you can achieve ‘Inner Peace’ but you have to make the effort to achieve it, it wont just happen overnight. You need to set yourself up to learn, you need to dedicate time each and every day to meditate, if only for a few minutes…’No excuses, don’t put it off until tomorrow, because as you well know, ‘Tomorrow, never comes‘!

When I first started meditation, i found it hard, i always felt as though I was doing something wrong, everyone i knew or met that meditated looked so calm, they all said how they could go into a deep, calm and reflective space where they connected with themselves, this may be in a garden, or by the ocean, on a mountain top, in a fantasy playground, floating on a cloud etc but for me all I could get was thoughts springing into my mind, thoughts about work, my vacation, children, what i needed to do later that day, i could hear the children, the phone, car horns blaring… but no inner peace. I could not feel the calmness that all my friends were experiencing…So I thought, ‘maybe there is something wrong with me’, or do they really experience that or are they just saying that to make me feel inadequate, perhaps they are also experiencing what I am but don’t really want to tell me!  🙂 Well, I stuck at it, at first for 5 minutes a day, then i tried 5 minutes twice per day, then after a few days i realised i was becoming more calm so i extended to 10 minutes, then twice per day and on and on it went, now I can easily achieve 1 or more hours and these sessions flash by like they were only minutes, i go into a deep quiet place but I am always aware, i can hear all that is going on around me, i feel the touch of the dogs wagging tail, the sounds are still there but now i can control them, i label my thoughts as ‘Thoughts’ and sounds as ‘sounds’ and i welcome connections from my heart, my soul and anyone else that wants to connect with me….I have over time started to achieve inner peace, it is a place of joy, of smiles, of reflection, a place where i can connect to my self, where i can spend quality time with myself, where i can feel my body, be aware of my health and all that ails me and concentrate for once on ‘Me’

Meditation is available to everyone, young or old, rich or poor and it costs you nothing, only time….and in my humble opinion…’Time well spent’ 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend my friends
