I was wondering how many times per day we say ‘I’ , I’,m not feeling well, I’m fed up, I dont’t agree, I don’t like that, I love you, I want that, I want this, I, I I…
The little ‘I’s, the personality is composed of countless fragments called little ‘I’s, all of which counted together form our image of ourselves.. These little ‘I’s, acting autonomously and often contradicting one other, take turns directing our personality – for example, the jealous ‘I’, the complaining ‘I’, the submissive ‘I’, the dominant ‘I’, etc. Without realising it, we can constantly take ourselves to be one of these little ‘I’s, which gives us the impression of being one, whereas we are in fact completely fragmented.
The Higher ‘I’, is the true nature of man, it is even further from his lower ‘I’ ( all of his little ‘I’s) than his essence. It gradually awakens in us as we develop our essence. this higher ‘I’ is composed of two higher parts of our being (the higher emotional center and the higher intellectual center ) which can only manifest when they receive nourishment of high quality, a nourishment that can only be provided by our essence. By purifying our lower ‘I’, our essence can develop and our higher emotional and intellectual centers can become active, allowing our higher ‘I’ to manifest.
Our Higher ‘I’ is at one with God, Source, your Higher Self, keep cultivating it and you will benefit from its awakening 🙂
For most of us we think it is simply the love between two human beings, love of a partner, a husband, wife, child or friend but unconditional love is actually much more than that, it transpires the relationship between two human beings into the realms of love that are sadly missing from our daily lives, our relationships between religions, our relationships between countries, our relationships between race, colour and creed. Most of the conflicts in our relationships arise because of our greed, our desires and our expectations, and, when both parties are selfish and self-centered, they do not remain in a relationship for long as the suffering becomes greater, distance comes about until total separation is the end result. The ideal relationship is that which is based upon mutual unconditional love and respect. It is as difficult as finding an ideal saintly human being upon earth. We cannot practice it if we have desires and expectations and if we are guided by fear, egoism, greed and self-interest.
We may study scriptures and participate in intellectual debates, but it will serve no purpose if we do not have a loving heart. We may judge others based on the religious morality we learn. But it is of no use in our own spiritual development, if we do not follow it ourselves and validate it based upon our own experience. Religious dogma is not meant to develop a blind following, but rather a deep curiosity to search for truth.
Unconditional love or our infinite innate capacity to love others unconditionally, can take us beyond the mortal plane into the realm of the immortal gods. When you go beyond desire-ridden judgments and selfish expectations and accept people and things with love and compassion, you earned the right to reach the abode of God. When you do not act with moral superiority and religious prejudice, you become a source of love and healing to others.
As human beings, we all have our weaknesses. We are incapable of exhibiting the virtuous qualities of God in our ordinary selves. However, our weaknesses and imperfections can be overcome if we strive to transcend our lower nature with abundant faith and love in God and cultivate the single most important virtue of unconditional love. Unconditional love can arise only in a mind that is truly detached, that has no preference and is established in equanimity and oneness.
Therefore, bring love into your life and radiate it unconditionally, like a flower radiates its fragrance, by cultivating detachment and equanimity of the mind. Accept everything that comes into your life as part of your divine creation and as a part of your destiny. Build relationships not for mutual satisfaction of wants and desires, but for the sake of unconditional love, without expecting anything in return.
First, practice it towards those whom you may harbor negativity and resentment of those whom you find difficult to forgive. Learn to forgive them and let go of your feelings of hurt and indignation. Then gradually spread the same attitude towards one and all. As part of your practice, you should radiate your love in your daily life towards one and all, and try to be forgiving and helpful. If you start practicing these suggestions, slowly you develop a compassionate heart, which will open the doors of God’s unconditional love to you.
If you look carefully, most things in creation already practice unconditional love. It is usually humans who have difficulty in practicing it because we are the subjects of freewill, desires and attachment. A tree does not choose whom to give its fruit. It is we who build a fence around it. A well does not choose whom to give water. A river does not choose whose boat it will carry. A flower does not choose to whom it will spread its fragrance. The sun and moon do not choose to whom to radiate their warmth and light.
God’s unconditional love manifests when we silence our desires and suspend our judgment. Both are difficult to practice. When they are absent, God’s love manifests itself. It is in the silent heart of a Buddhist Monk, an Ascetic Yogi, Priest, Pastor, Cleric, Brahman, holy person that the unconditional love wells up.
Every religion in the world today talks about love, peace and harmony, to love your brothers and sisters, to do good unto men
The only love worthy of a name is unconditional.
The only way love can last a lifetime is if it’s unconditional. The truth is this: love is not determined by the one being loved but rather by the one choosing to love.
Intense love does not measure, it just gives.
Love is the doorway through which the human soul passes from selfishness to service.
Where there is great love there are always miracles.
Where there is love there is life.
Since love grows within you, so beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul.” St. Augustine
Love is life…and if you miss love, you miss life.
Universal love gives without expecting anything back.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the Children of God. 1 John 3:1
Greater love has no one than this, that he laid down his life for his friends. John 15:13
God is love, and he who lives in love, lives in God and God in him 1 John 4:14
God loves you no matter who you are. He will cover you within his feathers. Under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
These is only one love that loves unconditionally-The love of the Divine.
Love is patient, love is kind, love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on it’s own way, it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
God loves each of us as if there was only one of us- Augustine
I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant. – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr
Love is the absence of judgment
Until he has unconditional and unbiased love for all beings, man will not find peace. – Buddha
The greatest gift you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance.
Go with unconditional love my friends, be the love and share the love with all beings.
As you know I have been absent from my blog for the past few weeks dealing with some family issues and I have also embarked on a wonderful year long spiritual program which is also taking up a lot of my spare time, and although time consuming its benefits to me spiritually have already been immense. I will over time give you further details of this program and also share with you some of my journey within the next 12 months 🙂
During the start of the program we were asked to connect our light channel, align and fully open our chakras and open our heart to ‘Source’ and ground this connection deeply with Mother Earth, this I did and once my heart was fully open I started to channel pure love and pure source energy from ‘Source / God’. Many wonderful things happened to me on this initial journey as I connected to Source, Ascended Masters, My Spiritual Guides, Healers and Angelic beings, whilst in meditation and during the journey with my higher self I channelled the following Mandala and Mantra which I hand drew and painted after the meditation session, I do hope you like them and also feel the positive energy and unconditional love that were shared with me from above that day 🙂
Touching base with your heart and your soul, easy?…… No!….Achievable?…Yes! 🙂
Our lives are so full of madness…time, the clock, rushing here, rushing there, eating while watching tv, reading the news, checking and responding to emails….working, parenting, relationships,’…their up’s and down’s…children and our fear for their future, challenges at work, career prospects, learning, financial difficulties….Is it all doom and gloom?….Only if you let it be!
I too have been a victim of all these things, my life has been filled with education, doing better, achieving more, working hard, working harder, working more hours, doing more of everything, wanting more of everything, buying for the sake of buying, mounting debt problems, children, the worries of being a parent, relationship challenges, divorce, grieving for the loss of loved ones, changing careers, re-educating myself, starting again, fighting to survive, living on the breadline, finding new love, emerging from the flames, being born again, awakening to the realities of life, becoming aware of what is important in life, caring from the heart, wanting to see change in our world, fighting for change, being frustrated that I cannot do enough, or make change happen overnight…an on; and on the cycle goes….So now what?…Where am I and what does the future hold?
Should I give up, should I buckle down and follow the pack, work every hour god sends, chase the dreams of others, or follow my heart, live in the ‘now’, do as ‘I’; my soul, my higher self wants?….
A dilemma felt by many….., choices…which way to go?…
The choice is yours, either be controlled or be in control….
I choose life, I choose to live in the now, to work in ‘Mindfulness’ of the other sometimes more important things in my life, for my family, for our future, for humanity, for our environment, for Mother Earth, for others less fortunate than I, I choose to serve for the betterment of my self, for my soul. My heart is now free, free to choose which way to go, I listen to my heart, I trust my intuition, I listen with Empathy to others with the intent to understand, and I place my feet firmly down on my own spiritual pathway, the journey which leads me through life with a smile; not a burden of weight placed upon my shoulders by others who want to control my destiny.
Be ‘Mindful’ my dear friends, live your life according to your own destiny, allow yourself the luxury right to enjoy your life to the full, take time out for yourself, connect with your heart and soul through meditation, free your mind from the distractions of modern life, see life as it really is and start enjoying each and every day to the full, see the blueness of the sky or if your sky is grey; see the blueness of the sky up above the clouds, watch the sun rise and set, see the smiles of the children around you , reconnect with your inner child, smile, always smile and breathe….just breathe 🙂
Its Meaning: ” We meditate on the glory of the creator, who has created the Universe, who is worthy of worship, who is the embodiment of knowledge and light, who is the remover of all sin and ignorance, may he enlighten our intellect.”
Listening to this Mantra especially under meditation gives you Peace.
This is what Swami Sivananda had to say about this supreme Mantra. ” Gayatri is the mother of the Vedas and the destroyer of sins. There is nothing more purifying on the Earth, as well as in the Heavens than the Gayatri. The Japa (chanting) of Gayatri brings the same as the recitation of all the four Vedas together.”

You are never alone or hopeless
during your life’s journey.
The force that guides the stars
guides you too.
You may have heard that ‘The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too’ This refers to an inexplicable yet very real power that comes into play when one truly decides to move forward. Coincidences occur and help comes in from unexpected directions. It is as iff the entire universe is conspiring to propel you toward success.
Lao Tzu taught the same lesson when he wrote “Hold the great image. All under heaven will come” The great image is the clear visualisation of what you intend to manifest. When you hold this image clearly in your mind with focussed intent, everything and everyone around you will automatically become aligned with you.
The net effect is that the Tao becomes like an omnipresent director, orchestrating entire sequences of events in your favor. When this happens, you solve problems with ease, accomplish tasks that seemed difficult before. Nothing can stand in your way.
In order to leverage the great power to move on your behalf, you must make a decision at the deepest core of your being and back it up with actual action. Thinking really hard by itself will accomplish nothing. Taking action, on the other hand, is the trigger that will open up the floodgates. Wield the great image, and let all under heaven come to you.
My wife and I meditating at the top of the Grampian mountains on New Years Day 2015.
I would like to take a moment to thank you all for all your follows, your comments and your support during 2014 and for the friendship and love you have sent me from all around the world.
Love, compassion and awareness of life and the world we live in is what I stand for, I try my best to promote these things through my blog and my daily activities, it is not always easy, there are often set-backs, challenges and sometimes even extremely negative and abusive responses and comments to my posts, I do however take these negative comments in my stride and think of all for the love and support that you guys give me which in turn provides me with the strength to continue on in the hope that we can together help make change.
May and I had the opportunity to spend Christmas and New Year in Australia this year, we spent most of our time in nature, meditating and connecting with the beauty and spirit of Australia’s outback, the positive energy, the weather, the trees and the mountains gave us strength and we are both re-energized to do even more this year 🙂
The dawn of 2015 brought about the sad deaths of 36 people in Shanghai, the city where we live, those souls were lost to our world after a deadly stampede on New Year’s Eve killed 36 and caused the cancellation of celebrations across the city. At least 47 people were injured, including 40 still serious enough to required hospitalization, the Shanghai government said on its website. “The stampede — the city’s deadliest disaster since 2010 — started about 11:35 p.m. on New Year’s Eve as tens of thousands of people crowded into the historic Bund riverside district for a light show”.
My prayers go out to those who are no longer with us and to their families and friends during this time of sorrow, may their souls rest in peace.
2015, what will it bring us?
I do hope that 2015 will bring about greater self realization, more compassion and a greater understanding of our world to us all. For us to work together in the name of peace and move forward towards a happier world where we can all live without the need for war, where we actively work together as one to find ways in which we can bring about the end of poverty, feed the hungry and save our environment from the ravages and destruction of our insatiable greed for more!…We can, I believe; achieve great things in 2015, we are on our way, our voices are now at last being heard, the powers that be are now starting to take notice, we can make a difference, we can bring about change.

“Birth is not the beginning, Death is not the end.” ~Chuang – Tsu
…And it was morning as God stood before his twelve children and into each of them planted the seed of human life. One by one each child stepped forward to receive their appointed gift.
” To you Aries I give my seed first that you might have the honor of planting it. That for every seed you plant one million more will multiply in your hand. You will not have time to see the seed grow for everything you plant creates more that must be planted. You will be the first to penetrate the soil of men’s minds with My Idea. But it is not your job to nourish the idea nor to question it. Your life is action and the only action I ascribe to you is to begin making men aware of my creation. For your good work I will give you the virtue of Self Esteem.”
Quietly Aries stepped back into place.
“To you Taurus I give the power to build the seed into substance. Your job is a great one requiring patience for you must finish all that has been started or the seeds will be wasted to the wind. You are not to question nor change your mind in the middle nor to depend on others for what I ask you to do. For this I give you the gift of Strength. Use it wisely.”
And Taurus stepped back in place.
“To you Gemini I give the questions without answers so that you may bring to all an understanding of what man sees around him. You will never know why men speak or listen, but in your quest for the answer you will find my gift of Knowledge.”
And Gemini stepped back in place.
“To you Cancer I ascribe the task of teaching men about emotion. My Idea is for you to cause them laughter and tears so that all they see and think develops fullness from inside. For this I give you the gift of Family, that your fullness may multiply.”
And Cancer stepped back in place.
“To you Leo I give the job of displaying My Creation in all its brilliance to the world. But you must be careful of pride and always remember that it is My creation, not yours. For if you forget this men will scorn you. There is much joy in the job I give to you if you but do it well. For this you are to have the gift of Honor.”
And Leo stepped back in place.
“To you Virgo I ask for an examination of all man has done with My Creation. You are to scrutinize his ways sharply and remind him of his errors so that through you My Creation may be perfected. For doing this I give you the gift of Purity of Thought.” And Virgo stepped back in place.
“To you Libra I give the mission of service, that man may be mindful of his duties to others. That he may learn cooperation as well as the ability to reflect the other side of his actions. I will put you everywhere there is discord, and for your efforts I will give you the gift of Love.”
And Libra stepped back in place.
“To you Scorpio I give a very difficult task. You will have the ability to know the minds of men, but I do not permit you to speak about what you learn. Many times you will be pained by what you see, and in your pain you will turn away from Me and forget that it is not I but the perversion of My Idea that is causing your pain. You will see so much of man that you will come to know him as animal and wrestle so much with his animal instincts in yourself that you will lose your way; but when you finally come back to Me, Scorpio, I have for you the supreme gift of Purpose.”
And Scorpio stepped back in place.
“Sagittarius, I ask you to make men laugh for ad mist their misunderstanding of My Idea they become bitter. Through laughter you are to give man hope, and through hope turn his eyes back to Me. You will touch many lives if but only for a moment, and you will know the restlessness in every life you touch. To you Sagittarius I give the gift of Infinite Abundance, that you may spread wide enough to reach into every corner of darkness and bring it to light.”
And Sagittarius stepped back in place.
“Of you Capricorn I ask the toil of your brow, that you might teach men to work. Your task is not an easy one for you will feel all of man’s labors on your shoulders; but for the yoke of your burdens I put the responsibility of man in your hands.”
And Capricorn stepped back in place.
“To you Aquarius I give the concept of future that man might see other possibilities. You will have the pain of loneliness for I do not allow you to personalize My Love. But for turning man’s eyes to new possibilities I give you the gift of Freedom, that in your liberty you may continue to serve mankind whenever he needs you.”
And Aquarius stepped back in place.
“To you Pisces I give the most difficult task of all. I ask you to collect all of man’s sorrow and return it to me. Your tears are to be ultimately My tears. The sorrow you will absorb is the effect of man’s misunderstanding My Idea, but you are to give him compassion that he may try again. For this the most difficult task of all I give the greatest gift of all. You will be the only one of My twelve children to understand Me. But this gift of understanding is for you, Pisces for when you try to spread it to man he will not listen.”
And Pisces stepped back in place.
…Then God said “You each have a part of My Idea.
You must not mistake the part given to you for all of My Idea, nor may you desire to trade parts with each other.
For each of you is perfect, but you will not know that until all twelve of you are ONE. For then the whole of My Idea will be revealed to each of you.”
And the children left, each determined to do his job best that he might receive his gift. But none fully understand his task or his gift, and when they returned puzzled God said, “You each believe that other gifts are better. Therefore I will allow you to trade.” And for the moment each child was elated as he considered all the possibilities of his new mission.
But God smiled as he said “You will return to Me many times asking to be relieved of your mission, and each time I will grant you your wish. You will go through countless incarnations before you complete the original mission I have prescribed for you.
I give you countless time in which to do it, but only when it is done can you be with Me.”
“The reality of my life cannot die for I am indestructible consciousness.” ~Paramahansa Yogananda
The light in its truest form is a connection with God. Our hearts long to take part in the light and to be children of light. From the very beginning, God created us to be children of light. He created us to live as the family of Light.
I am truthfully Thankful and Grateful to her and also to all my blogging friends for the inspiration and happiness you bring to me each and every day, for your continued support of my blog, for your openness, Love, friendship and spiritual guidance.
As you all know I do not accept award nominations in the traditional way or enter into the process of acceptance, however I’m always grateful for your nominations and happy beyond belief.
“If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is: Infinite.” ~ William Blake
The Ancient Sanskrit Blessing Namaste translates as “I bow to the divine in you.”
Namaste is the Divine spark in one person recognizing the divine spark in another
The life in me sees and honors the life in you, this is an especially deep expression of respect.
Namaste recognizes the duality that exists in this world and suggests an effort to bring these two aspects back together, this will ultimately lead towards unity and non-dual state of Oneness, it recognizes the equality of all and pays honor to the sacredness of all.
The whole action of Namaste unfolds itself on four levels: spiritual, physical, mental, and verbal.
I honor the place in you where Spirit lives: the Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you
I greet that place where you and I, we are One
I honor the place in you which is of Love and I receive the free spirit in you
I salute the place in you which is of Truth, May the life within you be strong
I receive the place in you which is of Light
Within each of us is a place where peace dwells. I recognize the place in you which is of Peace
I recognize that we are all equal
I acknowledge that everyone is valuable in their own way and capable of expanding my horizons
When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, then we are ONE
We are able to recognize the goodness of others
We can perceive the unique thread that connect us all with the Universe, and all its Beings as well as to the source of that interconnection
We are receptive to knowledge that comes to us in the form of example, advice, and direct teaching.
When we assume that everyone we meet is special and unique, We awake to the wisdom that opens our eyes to new worlds of possibility
We should show all people the same generous level of understanding, kindness, care, and compassion
Without any thought of self-interest beyond paying respect wholeheartedly.
The way we live our daily lives has an enormous impact on those around us. Instead of clinging to what separates us, practicing Namaste enables us to feel less alone in the world. We begin to understand that we must treat all people for what they are: family.
As we gain consciousness of the more subtle aspects of our being, We reweave ourselves with the light body. We are One with All That Is whether we realize it or not.
May all beings find and hold happiness. May they all be free from suffering and sickness. May we look and see all others reflecting back.
There is only One Earth. There is only One Humanity
May we all be One, One family?
You don’t need anything except yourself and your totality.
Going beyond the mind..is not dropping the mind
it is going beyond the mind..into a state of no mind.
Just accept yourself exactly how you are
and the struggle will disappear
and your energy will become a vast reservoir of love
settled and relaxed
then you can listen deeply
and trust your inner being.
Love yourself..accept yourself..be yourself
these qualities will create for the first time
an individual whose inner flame is un-dividable
a great pool of energy will gather and surround you
with this an inner trust will arise from within you.
The journey is simple
from the fragmented many..
to the individual one..to the cosmic all
live life..love life..accept life with laughter and joy
life is a pure celebration of you..a celebration of your being
being alive each moment in this dance of the universe.
